Always go.
About
The Teton Outing Club is for people who live their lives around time outside. The club offers townhome residences, gear storage, a library to plan trips, and spaces to recover and reflect when the day is over.
At its inception, the club was defined by is its annual Outings: loosely organized trips throughout the year that brought together friends and other outdoor enthusiasts on adventures in the valley punctuated with a celebratory dinner upon return.
In 2024, the opportunity arose to secure a permanent home: a former development site on Ski Hill Road. The club acquired land and started designing what will, by 2027, be the physical home of the club complete with townhome residences, gear storage, places to plan trips, and spaces to recover and reflect upon returning home.
Its facilities are designed for the practical needs of being outside, from storing gear to meeting before a trip to returning home to accommodations and to resting and reflecting before the next Outing.
The club operates on the belief that access to wild spaces, paired with a culture of stewardship, strengthens both the individual and the community. By establishing a permanent base in Teton Valley, the club ensures its members, and the outdoors community as a whole, can continue to explore, guide, and pass on their knowledge for years to come.
Always Go — is a reminder never to hesitate. If there’s a reason to get outside, Big or small, take it.
Today
Annual Outings will continue up until and after the completion of the new property. The club offers three ways for families and individuals to engage with its mission:
- Founding Member — an owner of one of the club’s residences, with full access to the club's facilities and programs.
- Valley Members — Members who live in the valley and participate in the club’s Outings and benefit from the club's partnerships and use of facilities.
- Field Members — Invited guides and accomplished outdoor enthusiasts who benefit from access to the club’s community and facilities to support their guiding, instruction, and other outdoor pursuits at no cost.
